Nov 27, 2010 - Cheung Kong MBA Professor Talk& Info Session, Beijing
Professor Teng, Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Associate Dean, Cheung Kong, "Business Model Innovation: How to make it work in China?"
In the last 10 years, business model innovation (BMI) has been a buzz-word around the globe. In China, the need for BMI is particularly high as Chinese firms have been under pressure to transform from low-end, labor-intensive business models to ones with higher profit margins.
While many Chinese firms have made great strides with BMI, most have been copy cats of successful models from overseas.
How could Chinese firms develop more original business models? How could Chinese firms achieve better BMI results? These are among the issues to be discussed in Prof. Teng's lecture.
