Inbound

CKGSB offers a unique opportunity for students from overseas business schools to come to China for study and a deeper understanding of the China market. The schools choose CKGSB to host their China Focus module because of our highly-credentialed faculty and the opportunity for exchanges with CKGSB students. Furthermore, many of these schools choose to take advantage of their time in China to work with a company on business projects, both in and out of the classroom.

Program Types:

Case Analysis - Students from both schools work together in mix teams on a Chinese case, which involves intensive discussion within each group. Students have the opportunity to first-hand experience working with international MBAs on a case.

Project Base (2 week project) - Projects are retrieved from the real business world, including MNCs, SOEs, private companies, etc. Students from both schools work together in mix teams on a selected project, which involves a great amount of field research, team work and discussion with guiding faculty. At the end of the program, each group presents their findings, analysis and recommendations to the faculty as well as the corporate representatives. Final findings may be used by the company in their future operations.

Outbound

Individual Exchange:
Full-time CKGSB MBA students have the opportunity to participate in 2-3 month exchange programs. Students can choose from schools in North America, such as Cornell, Columbia, Darden, Carlson, and Queen's, in Europe, such as IE, and Emlyon, or in Asia, such as Waseda, SNU, ISB, etc. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse oneself in a different culture while learning from MBAs across the world.

International Study Trip:
CKGSB MBA students can choose to experience a different culture and business environment for a week following Module 4. Student-organized trips, with the support of the MBA office, to different countries include lectures by professors, company visits in the host country, as well as a chance to meet MBAs abroad. Past trips have included visits to Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, and South Korea.
