Introduction
Tian Guoqiang is a Professor of Economics at Texas A&M University. He is also Adjunct Professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Changjiang Professor of Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Professor Tian is co-editor of China Economic Review, the Annals of Economics and Finance, and an Associate Editor of China Economic Quarterly, Modern China Studies, and the American Review of China Studies.
