The Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business Case Center seeks case writers for its Beijing campus.
The Case Center produces case studies reflecting the school’s key research and alumni strengths. The center supports faculty teaching by producing innovative and relevant teaching material.
Case writers will be responsible for writing business case studies, thereby extending the scope of cases available for class, and increasing the variety of facets of Chinese business explored by the school.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Writing business case studies on a variety of topics in China business;
- Working independently and with Cheung Kong GSB faculty to develop cases relevant to Cheung Kong teaching and research;
- Assisting in events to promote the Case Center including media outreach, event planning and execution, and database building;
- Helping professors with case-related research.
Candidates should have:
- Excellent writing skills (an academic writing sample will be requested);
- An academic focus on one or more of the core areas of research represented at the school;
- A well-developed network of China business contacts;
- Publication industry experience;
- Fluent Chinese and English;
- Relevant events management experience preferred;

With a world-class faculty recruited from top business schools in Europe and North America, it is now widely regarded as one of the best business schools in China. As part of its globalization strategy, the school is expanding its operations to Europe. Cheung Kong is seeking a senior manager to lead European operations out of its London office.
The new hire's chief responsibilities will be to build the Cheung Kong brand and develop and direct a strategic plan to expand the school's China-related educational offerings in Europe. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping Cheung Kong GSB's global growth.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Serve as the public representative of Cheung Kong GSB in the UK & Europe and manage the rep office's overall operations

Qualifications include:
- A strong record of performance and significant experience marketing, selling, and delivering executive education courses in the UK and/or Europe.
- Experience in managing the design and development of executive educational curricula in cooperation with faculty
- Outstanding general management, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills developed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans
- Well-developed list of contacts in business and higher education in the region
- Fluency in English. Competence in Chinese and other European languages is a plus
- Advanced degree with at least 10 years of experience in senior management or administration, preferably in business education.
